The core responsibilities of the Department are for corporate and administrative services that are either outward-facing, or provide direct support to the University's senior management.
Student Services Centre
Many of the divisions which make up the department of the University Secretary are located in the Student Services building on Highfield Campus.
The services which make up the Department ensure that the University is well governed and that its excellent reputation is maintained. Their main areas of work comprise marketing communications, hosting relationship-building events that are sponsored by the University in collaboration with its partners, managing internationally celebrated arts venues and providing advice and secretarial services to the University Council and its committees. Other services include the management of corporate planning, human resources, health and safety.
