The Strategy, Planning and Governance group is the guardian of the University Strategy. We provide a focal point within the University for governance, strategic planning, performance monitoring and reporting, institution-wide change initiatives, project management and executive support including administrative services relating to Council and Senate.
George Thomas building
Many of the divisions which make up the Strategy, Planning and Governance group are located in the George Thomas building on Highfield Campus.
To help shape the University's future and the development of appropriate strategies, we undertake market research, environmental scanning and the collection and analysis of business intelligence. Other key responsibilities include risk management (including production of the University Risk Register), quality assurance of statutory data returns, monitoring of league tables and benchmarking.
