The University of Southampton’s new Vice-Chancellor, Professor Don Nutbeam is presenting his Inaugural Address in the Turner Sims today (23 November).
Professor Nutbeam, who has recently returned to the UK after nearly two decades working in higher education in Australia, will use his Inaugural Address to give an insight into his early impressions of Southampton, his thoughts on the University’s place in the city and region, and the role of Southampton in a national and global context. He will also be raising issues relating to UK higher education in general.
Professor Nutbeam is addressing an invited audience at the Turner Sims on the University’s Highfield Campus at 2.00pm.
