Private Rented Housing Lists

The list of private rented accommodation advertised through the Southampton Accreditation Scheme for Student Housing (SASSH) is now available through www.sassh.co.uk.

All houses listed on www.sassh.co.uk are registered with the SASSH programme, run jointly by the University of Southampton, Southampton Solent University and Southampton City Council.

You can register online and then search for properties based on your requirements, and you can save properties that you are interested in to your profile and also set up alerts to notify you when properties become available.

You can view properties including location maps and photographs and contact landlords directly to organise viewings. You also have the use of a message board where you can message other students looking for a roommate / housemates or with available accommodation in Southampton.

Getting access

As the SASSH housing lists are only available to students of the University of Southampton and Southampton Solent University, you will need a password to access the information. For students of this University, the password can be found via the Sussed portal:

  • Log in at sussed.soton.ac.uk 
  • Click on the Resources tab
  • Click on Student Life
  • Click on Accommodation
  • Click on Private Rented Housing Lists
