Social care and culture to be discussed at carer event – 20 March
In celebration of UN International Day for Elimination of Racial Discrimination Carers in Southampton will be hosting an event to explore social care experiences.
The event , How Culture and Language Affect Social Care Experiences: Evidence from Southampton Carers, will include a presentation by Dr Ros Willis on her research in social care. Ros’s research explores experiences from carers of different cultural and ethnic backgrounds in Southampton. The event, being held at the Civic Centre between 2-4pm, will include a have your say’ element to encourage audience feedback
