Dr Ann-Marie Hughes is leading a prestigious Lifelong Learning Programme (Erasmus Multilateral Projects) to develop a European MSc in Advanced Rehabilitation Technologies (ART). The programme is a collaboration between the RHT Research Group and colleagues in engineering, together with a consortium of 10 universities in 7 European countries, The MSc ART will underpin collaborative rehabilitation technology education and research across Europe, bringing together a range of academic disciplines and industries.
The MSc in Health and Rehabilitation is for all healthcare professionals from a variety of backgrounds, including allied healthcare practitioners, nurses, midwives, doctors and psychologists. This is for practitioners who wish to increase their career opportunities by improving their clinical and research skills. It can be completed over one year full time or up to five years part time. It is particularly relevant for Allied Health Professions staff and is open to both newly qualified and experienced staff alike. This programme will enable you to become a more efficient practitioner, improve your decision-making processes in line with evidence-based practice and accurately and consistently interpret evidence to improve care. You will be able to tailor your learning to suit your own area of interest and practice. There is a strong research emphasis and over 34% of students who take this MSc continue on into PhD study.
