You can now see who else has expressed their interest in this year’s Reunion Experience on our class pages 1963, 1973, 1983, 1993 and 2003, so keep an eye out on here to see if any of your classmates are coming back to campus to celebrate.

Here's what some of the alumni from previous reunions thought:

"The hospitality outstanding. I was dazzled by the scientific presentations and the Humanities Tour in the afternoon balanced the day perfectly. The evening dinner was quality cuisine and the speeches were entertaining."

"Having not visited the university for 30 years, I was not sure what to expect but was pleasantly surprised. Everyone had put a lot of effort to make it enjoyable and informative. I was impressed at the organisation and all the little touches."

"I had a great time meeting up with old acquaintances and friends. Look forward to seeing you in 10 years time."

"What a great day. We were made to feel so welcome and felt like we belonged back at the University, at least for a day! There was so much to fit in and the presentations we saw were very well presented and showed us a side of the University we hadn't seen before. On top of that we managed to catch up with people we hadn't spoken to for years which was a lot of fun."

"I both greatly enjoyed seeing old haunts and meeting up with so many other former fellow-undergraduates, and was hugely impressed by the University as it is to-day and all that it is achieving. I left feeling truly proud to have been part of this outstanding University."

"I would recommend others to attend when their anniversary comes around and feel very proud that Southampton Uni is doing so well."

"It was worth travelling down from the Midlands just to hear Professor Bernard's lecture. One forgets what a pleasure it is to sit at the feet of a genius! If only I could be an Undergraduate again... I left feeling very proud of my University."

"Thank you for inviting me to the dinner on Saturday. I had a delightful time with no less than three of my former students. The dinner was excellent and very well presented - it seems to have been a very successful event. I've got 3 new Facebook friends - very nice!"

"Many thanks for all your hard work in giving the ‘61’ class in particular a great experience last Saturday. I for one really enjoyed meeting up with old colleagues, having the guided tours around the amazingly enlarged university (since our day), some great talks and lectures – well done to the speakers, and of course a superb dinner to round it all off."

"Overall, it was a very enjoyable event. There were 8 people there who I knew and every one of them was glad that they made the effort to come. I too was glad that I made the effort.
It's hard to imagine that this could have been done better. Excellent stuff."

"A super reunion ! Well done. Thank you so much to you and your first class team for arranging such a successful event. It was great to see my engineering chums of '61 in good shape - and to witness the amazing growth of the University from the small scale (1,500) of our time. And to ride in Toastrack again - the last time was in '60 on a three week holiday to Spain. I'm really grateful for all your efforts and enthusiasm.
