Get your PhD thesis published!

Last year there were nearly 82,000 PhD theses downloaded from the University of Southampton! Would you like to be included? Allow us to add your pre 2008 PhD thesis to the repository by signing the Supplementary Release Form and sending it back to the University Librarian. Just print off the form and return it to Hartley Library!

Students' Union Lifetime Membership

Lifetime membership of SUSU is one of the best ways to maintain your student links. For £15, you can continue to enjoy all the services and facilities that the Students' Union has to offer at student rates, including entry to Union films, society memberships and SUSU events. Simply write to Southampton University Students' Union, University of Southampton, Southampton, SO17 1BJ. Enclose a payment of £15 payable to SUSU, one passport sized photograph, your current address, email and telephone number.

Sports Membership

Make use of the state-of-the-art facilities including the Jubilee Sports centre with a 25m 6-lane swimming pool, 8-court Sports Hall and 140-station fitness suite. For 12 months after graduation you can take out a membership at the student rate, after this there is a special alumni rate. Your partner/spouse is also eligible for membership at the alumni rate.

10 per cent Discount on Postgraduate Study

If you are considering postgraduate study why not choose Southampton? We now offer our alumni the chance to study postgraduate taught courses and research degrees at a 10 per cent discounted price.

Lifelong Learning - study days

The Lifelong Learning department holds regular, one-day cultural events led by experts from within the University. Alumni benefit from a discount on study days.
