Do you like to tinker with vintage vehicles? Are you an engineer, a mechanic or do you just enjoy getting your hands dirty working on engines and cars? The Toastrack keeper is looking for volunteers to help maintain the University's own 1929 vintage bus and can even teach you to drive it! The team usually meet on a Sunday (mainly during term time) for 3 to 4 hours and in addition to working on the maintenance of they bus they also drive it for events at the University - such as the Anniversary Class Reunion - and take it to rallies and on trips. It's not all about getting covered in engine oil though, if you'd like to help but can't tell a wrench from a hammer then there are secretary and treasurer positions available also.
