On–line exhibitions
In conjunction with exhibitions of original material displayed in the Special Collections Exhibition Gallery, the Division is looking to develop on-line exhibitions.
Here are examples of four exhibitions created: the first as part of a Heritage Lottery Fund project to collect testimonies from child refugees from the Spanish Civil War; a selection of images from the University photographic collection to mark the 60th anniversary of the University of Southampton in 2012; an iconic item from the Wellington Archive relating to the Battle of Busaco during the Peninsular War; and finally extracts of diaries and letters in the Broadlands Archives produced as part as the fund raising bid for the archive.
