Our BSc Biochemistry degree programme has achieved 100% for ‘overall student satisfaction’ in the National Student Survey (NSS) 2013.

Our biological sciences degree programmes performed very well in the 2013 results with several achieving outstanding scores in the six key aspects of the student learning experience, such as: teaching on my course, organisation and management and learning resources. This is a tremendous acknowledgment of the high esteem in which our undergraduate students view the biological sciences degree programmes offered at Southampton University.

Professor Keith Jones, Head of Biological Sciences, added ‘I am delighted that our students value our degree programmes so highly. We pride ourselves on our standard of teaching, because we know being the recipient of a good quality degree is so important for students in getting the career they want. To have such fantastic feedback from our students will mean a great deal to our teaching staff, and our ambition is to continue to deliver exceptional quality degrees to all future students.'
