Visits & Open Days

Attending a University Open Day is a great opportunity to see the campus and find out what it’s really like to live and study here. You'll be able to see our state-of-the-art student facilities and learn more about the subject area you're interested in.

Our next University Open Days

Can't make an Open Day? There are other ways to visit, for example by attending a campus tour or using our Virtual Open Day.

After we have made you an offer, we will invite you to visit Biological Sciences.

The comprehensive half-day visit is a valuable opportunity to get a feel for Biological Sciences and learn more about what it has to offer, helping you to make that important decision about where to study. You will be able to find out more about our courses, meet current undergraduates and staff and take a laboratory tour.

Visit days will provide you with an opportunity to talk with academics about your course, speak with students from Biological Sciences and visit teaching laboratories. There will also be a chance to tour the campus with student guides from Biological Sciences.

“Southampton offers so many opportunities for biological science students. You can focus your degree according to what you’re interested in, whether it’s the molecular side of zoology or the ecology and conservation side as I did.”
