Professor Martin Broad appointed as new Head of Southampton Business School

The University of Southampton has announced its appointment of Professor Martin Broad as the new Head of Southampton Business School.

After spending the last year in the role of Acting Head of the Business School, Martin will continue to lead the school in the next steps of its development.

Speaking of his appointment, Martin says: “I’m delighted to take on this role and know that Southampton Business School has a bright future ahead. I look forward to working with other parts of the University and developing broader industry connections to ensure our research and educational strengths are fully harnessed."

Martin has previously held the positions of Director of Postgraduate Programmes, Deputy Head of Southampton Business School and Associate Dean (Education and Student Experience) in the Faculty of Business, Law and Art. More recently, he has been involved in overseas collaborations, growing the educational portfolio of programmes at Southampton Business School and working closely with the Faculty of Business, Law and Art.
