Associate Dean of Southampton Business School is awarded funding by ESRC

Professor Michelle Lowe, Associate Dean, Business School, Strategy and Engagement, has been awarded £174,934 from Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC) for a project entitled "Corporate food retailers, meat supply chains and the responsibilities of tackling anti-microbial resistance" (from 1.2.17-31.7.18). The project - in partnership with colleagues in Geography and Biological Sciences, the University of Newcastle and the Food Standards Agency (FSA), builds on a successful event held at the FSA offices in London on 25 November and has considerable impact potential.

In addition Professor Michelle Lowe has been accepted to the Innovation Caucus, a new initiative developed and funded by Innovate UK and the ESRC which seeks to enhance the impact of social science research in the work of Innovate UK.
