Mimi Chong has completed her PhD under the supervision of Cristián Bravo (Southampton Business School) and Prof. Matt Davison at the University of Western Ontario.

Grants/awards:

Pelin Demirel has won a grant from the WSI Higher Education Innovation Fund (Co-Investigator) 2016-2017 “Digital Workplace for Innovation and Participation”, awarded £12,400.

M. Sung, T Ma, J.E.V. Johnson, L. Vaughan Williams. Managing uncertainty through sophisticated quantitative analysis of financial decisions (£40k Star Financial Systems 2017/20).

Other special achievements:

Michelle Lowe was accepted to the Innovation Caucus, a new initiative developed and funded by Innovate UK and the ESRC which seeks to enhance the impact of social science research in the work of Innovate UK.

Stefan Cantore delivered a keynote presentation on the 2nd December 2016 at the West Midlands NHS Leadership Academy Conference in Birmingham on the topic: Making it real: How conversations can shift our organisational realities for the better!

Cristián Bravo was a Keynote speaker at the IEEE EVIC 2017, in Santiago, Chile, on the subject: Big Data and Business Analytics: Data Analysis for Knowledge Discovery.

Matti Jaakkola was a co-guest editors for a special issue “Strategic marketing – new horizons in theory and research” in the European Journal of Marketing (ABS 3).
