Staff from Southampton Business School and Southampton Law School have been recognised by the University for their contribution towards Enterprise and Impact.

Kun Duan, Southampton Business School and Paulina Sikorska, from Southampton Law School, won the ‘Doctoral College Director’s Award 2017’ in Enterprise and Impact, presented in recognition of an outstanding contribution to the success of the University of Southampton Small Business Clinic.

Kun and are coordinators for the joint initiative between the Business and Law Schools.  The Small Business Clinic is run throughout the academic year by a voluntary group of Law and Business students and staff with the support of a local firm of Chartered Accountants offering free advice on a range of issues to include all aspects of general, legal and tax compliance matters relating to running a business in the UK.

Kun Duan is currently a PhD candidate in Banking and Finance at Southampton Business School. He received one master degree from University of Bath in economics & finance, another master degree from Southwest Jiaotong University in regional economics, and bachelor degree from Southwest Jiaotong University in economics.
