Career Destinations is the University of Southampton's careers service. We assist students, postgraduate researchers and graduates in developing their employability skills in order that they can embark on successful graduate careers, enterprise activities or further study.
Contract research staff seeking careers advice or skills development training should contact Human Resources who have a remit and dedicated team responsible for the continuing professional development of all staff.
We want to work with our academic colleagues across the University on the creation and delivery of careers input within the academic timetable that is designed to meet the needs of your students and the employability strategy of the University of Southampton.
We are happy to produce bespoke resources for you if required. Each academic department and/or faculty has a Career Management Agreement (CMA) which provides a dedicated number of hours to the support of employability within the academic departments.
Access to our annual leavers' survey, the Destination of Leavers from Higher Education (DLHE), are available in QlikView which is accessible to all staff via https://qlikview.soton.ac.uk/ and your university login details.
