Making Successful Applications

Applying for a job can be a time consuming process. Each application you submit should be tailored to the specific role and organisation to which you are applying. This will help to ensure that you demonstrate your suitability for the role to the recruiter. Many people may be applying for the same role so you need to ensure your application stands out.

You can find a number of resources to help you through the various stages of the application process such as writing a CV or Covering Letter, Interview preparation and a number of practice Online (Psychometric) tests on our UoS Career Hub.

We also run a number of workshops and presentations which cover the application process and can be booked via the MyCareer Events Calendar.
