There are lots of opportunities at Southampton to meet new people, develop personal and professional skills and gain experiences to impress on job applications. Participating in clubs, societies and volunteering are just a few options beyond your degree.
Getting involved in our Enterprise activities will do all the above whilst giving you the opportunity to develop 5 key Enterprise skills:
• Creativity- An innovative perspective that looks beyond the obvious
• Negotiating- Working with others to deliver mutually beneficial conclusions
• Problem Solving- Turning problems and challenges into solutions and opportunities
• Decision Making- Comprehending risk and reward under pressure then acting upon it

Enactus is a not for profit organisation active in over 1600 universities in 47 countries. In Southampton and aims to develop real business opportunities for individuals and communities in need. The principle is based on social enterprise, where businesses are created to tackle social problems, improve communities, people’s life chances, or the environment.

Fish On Toast was set up and run by students and is the university's Entrepreneur Society. Whether you want to start a business, learn more about entrepreneurship or get hands-on experience with real-world businesses, this is the place for you.
AIESEC Southampton pride themselves on member development by providing the perfect complement to any university degree. Members are given the opportunity to develop their skills at weekly meetings, networking events, skills-based national conferences and international conferences too.
