Employability Activities within your degree

Within your degree programme you have access to a number of employability activities designed to support you in securing placement and graduate opportunities. Your lecturers and tutors have extensive links with employers and alumni from your specific degree programme. Using these links you are able to attend a variety of workshops and presentations providing you real life industry examples and career planning advice.

You also have access to specialist career planning resources on the University's virtual learning environment - blackboard.

Visit Career Destinations (Building 37, Highfield) to browse information, borrow books and use the computers for careers work.  We also have a great variety of take away literature including the Career Planning Guide, graduate directories and publications on topics such as work experience and teacher training – just ask at the Desk for advice.
