ECS

Welcome

This site gives examples of the employment and postgraduate courses entered by graduates from the School of Electronics and Computer Science. It has practical information and advice to support your career planning and job hunting.

Employability Activities within your degree

ECS has established links with local, national and international employers and organisations. An extensive range of workshops and presentations are available to you providing you advice and guidance on how to apply for future job opportunities, these events are provided by Career Destinations, employers and alumni.

Employers also engage with our students via the IT, Science and Engineering Careers Fair each October, the ECS Careers Fair in February and via the ECS Careers Hub, where a variety of industrial placement, summer internships and graduate vacancies are advertised.

Online tutorials are available to all our students, which have been specifically designed to guide you through important aspects of career planning, applications and the interview process.
