The University of Southampton is a multi-cultural, multi-faith community

The University provides opportunities for individuals to maintain and explore their faith and beliefs. Faith facilities on campus include the Chaplaincy and Muslim prayer room, and there are a variety of faith-based student societies to join. Off campus, there are many other places of worship in the Southampton area that may be of interest.

A programme of weekly and occasional events including a communion service, soup lunch, pasta evening and much more.

There are many student faith societies you can join during your time at University.

Chaplains and Faith Advisers are an integral part of the welfare and pastoral support here at the University for staff and students.

About the Chaplaincy House

Bookable space for group meetings, a common room with free tea and coffee, and quiet space for reflection.

Opening times

In term time the chaplaincy is open from 10am - 5pm each week-day.
