Congratulations to Antonio De Grazia (2nd prize), Catarina Moura (3rd prize) and Roxanna Ramnarine (top 10 shortlist), all PhD candidates in the Bone and Joint Research group, CHDSCR, in the annual Biomedical Imaging Unit (BIU) Grand Prize Micrograph competition.

Held every Christmas by the BIU, the competition invites members of the University to submit images and movies that have been taken using a microscope and are judged on artistic merit.

All three were successful in competition judging with ‘The (Christmas) Tree of Life or Stem Cells in Microfluidic Device’ by Antonio, ‘Christmas Wreath’ by Catarina and ‘Laponite Baubles’ by Roxanna. Well done again everyone!
