Doctoral College - Three Minute Thesis Competition

Well done to Lauren Jevons, PhD student in the CHDSCR, on being selected as the Faculty of Medicine candidate for the University of Southampton’s Three Minute Thesis competition.

Lauren received both the judge’s and people’s choice awards with her talk entitled ‘Osteoarthritis is a debilitating disease. It’s time for a treatment innovation; can stem cells pave the way towards a pain free future?’ Each candidate in the competition is challenged to present a talk no longer than three minutes on their PhD subject and Lauren will now go on to represent Medicine at the University Grand final on the 17th May 2017.
