We offer range of outreach activities that are all about sharing our passion for science.
Our schools outreach programme allows us to develop strong links with schools and colleges to engage with pupils and promote science as a vibrant, exciting and relevant subject. We aim to enthuse pupils about chemistry through dynamic, hands-on activities.
Prof David Read, Professorial Fellow - Education, leads our outreach team and activities are supported by other academics from the department as well as undergraduate and postgraduate students.
Pupils have the opportunity to learn about chemistry in a way that supports their current level of study. They can also talk to our current students about their experience of university and find out more about what it is like to study at degree level.
