Preparing our graduates for their future
Creating personalisation and flexibility in learning
We want to offer our students a distinctive Southampton educational experience, through ambitious, flexible and high quality programmes of study.
Through an innovative approach to our curriculum we are developing opportunities for our students to exercise choice and personalise your learning, if you wish to do so. In February 2011 we introduced a set of new, interdisciplinary modules and enabled more of our students to study a language or take modules from outside of your core disciplines. From September 2013 took this a step further and eligible students in Humanities and single-honours Social Sciences, Geography, Education and Physics are now able to choose a Minor subject to go alongside their main discipline.
If you are a University of Southampton student, select the student section on the homepage to find out more about the choices available to you and hear from your fellow students about their experiences.
If you are a member of staff at the University, choose the staff section on the homepage to find out more about the choice we are offering to students and how you can get involved.
