New research findings from the Southampton-King's College collaborative project 'Records of Early English Drama, Middlesex/Westminster: Eight Theatres north of the Thames' will be given an airing at this year's Medieval English Theatre conference on 'London'.

Dr Jessica Freeman (University of Southampton) will speak on "The Suburbs of London or the County of Middlesex: Locating the Playhouse, 1560-1640" and Dr Michele Pasin (KCUL Centre for Computing in the Humanities) on "London Theatres Bibliography: advantages of a digital humanities approach". This project is supported by the AHRC, and the London Theatres Bibliography has also been supported by the British Academy. The principal and co-investigators for the project are John McGavin of CMRC and John Bradley of King's.
