a) A theoretical background to the different spectroscopy methods b) A practical understanding of how to each measurement c) Analysis and interpretation of the data (conducted in Matlab).

Having successfully completed this module you will be able to:

  • Analysis and interpretation of the data (conducted in Matlab).

Syllabus

Students will acquire a foundation in the theory underlying each of the spectroscopic methods. The students will apply this knowledge, learning how to prepare samples and conduct the measurements. The students will then learn the how to process and interpret the resulting data in Matlab and analyse the results using the appropriate web resources.
