Aims and Objectives
To provide experience of the basic practical techniques used in modern instrumental electrochemistry.
Having successfully completed this module you will be able to:
- A basic understanding of experimental techniques in electrochemical research so that the student is able to design experiments that use the basic techniques.
Students will complete 6 experiments: Cyclic voltammetry 1 – surface reactions Cyclic voltammetry 2 – solution reactions Factors affecting instrumental response RDE and RRDE Microelectrodes AC Impedance

Completion of the experiments and preparation of laboratory reports. Reports to be submitted for each experiment.
