STOPAH trial results published

The results of the STOPAH trial have been published in the New England Journal of Medicine. The trial looked at treatment with steroids and/or pentoxiphylline for patients with alcoholic hepatitis.

Well done to all CTU staff involved in this successful trial that was the largest trial for this patient group ever undertaken.
