International Women's Week 2014

International Women's Day is celebrated annually on or around 8 March. Thousands of events are held throughout the world to inspire women and celebrate achievements.

Following previous successes, the University is pleased to again host a programme of events and activities to mark this special day. Although most of the programme is scheduled for the week starting 10 March, there are others across the entire month.

IWW SUSU Theatre Group Evening 2013

Many of the events - both 'seated' and concourse-based - are organised by SUSU. Expect the unexpected!

This year's IWW Main Event is Network of Networks, a unique opportunity for members of our volunteer groups, senior management and wider community to meet, mix, update and celebrate. Network of Networks will be held on Thursday 13 March from 16.30 onwards onwards in Garden Court.

All IWW events are open to both students and staff at the University, to women and men equally, and are free of charge unless stated otherwise.
