Advanced literature searching techniques

This hands on course will show participants how to move beyond DelphiS and Google Scholar and provide practical skills at how to use the most appropriate databases and resources to achieve a comprehensive search with a targeted search strategy.

Course description

Looking at how to use DelphiS effectively to scope your topic, moving onto to Subject Heading searching in specific health and medicine databases, exploring the Cochrane Library and NHS Evidence as well as the Web of Science, this course is for anyone who needs to develop their skills so that they can find what they need quickly and with confidence they have run a literature search in a systematic way.
