Published: 4 February 2014

Short PhD Course

Led by Professor Hillel Rapoport, visiting from the Paris School of
Economics, this course will present a picture of international migration
and give an understanding of the forces behind the patterns of its
evolution. We will analyse the interaction between international migration
and other aspects of globalisation, e.g. trade, FDI, the diffusion of
technology and culture, and the way international migration affects the
home and host economies. We will focus on issues in international and
growth/development economics and discuss recent immigration policy
proposals.
