Economist talks about the Mississippi Bubble
A new London radio station dedicated to financial topics has been launched. Share Radio has dedicated a Sunday morning slot, presented by Rita Lobos, to financial history topics. Rita’s first guest on her new programme was a University of Southampton economic historian, Helen Paul. Rita and Helen discussed the Mississippi Bubble (an early eighteenth century bubble on the Paris stock market).
