Partnership with King Faisal University, Saudi Arabia

In November 2009 ten lecturers from King Faisal University completed an intensive 5-day programme of research training in the School with contributions from a number of academics, research students and support staff. The programme also included meetings with senior colleagues across the University, social activities and tours of the School, campus and local areas.

This activity was one outcome of a visit to King Faisal University in April 2009 which was designed to initiate cooperation and explore a number of potential developments around teaching, research and the enhancement of professional development and academic practice for staff.
