Are you needing some help with phonics subject knowledge? Or looking to broaden the range of phonics games and activities you use? This session is designed to support NQTs in their first year of teaching.

This session, designed especially for NQTs, but also open to other teachers looking for help in these areas, will be a workshop with a range of activities. Miranda Dodd, the lead tutor for phonics and early literacy at Southampton Education School, will lead the session and be on hand to answer questions and offer support. 

Learning outcomes

  • You will improve your subject knowledge and know where to find more information if needed.
  • You will explore a range of phonics resources, games and books to find new teaching ideas.
  • You will discuss and develop ideas with colleagues.

The session costs just £15 to attend and includes resources and refreshments.
