Purpose - to help primary teachers new to the UK develop their awareness of key current issues and practices in UK education.
Join us for a three-day summer programme of interactive workshops focusing on key themes vital to teachers new to the UK education system and building on their own experiences in their home country. Key elements have been chosen through discussions with teaching colleagues and headteachers who have worked with teachers from overseas. Sessions will provide an overview of key themes, an introduction to the area and then signpost those attending to freely available sources of further information for further independent study.
