How to Apply

The application route for postgraduate courses varies according to the type of course. As a guideline, applications for taught Master's programmes are direct to the University.

Taught Master's Programmes

Applications for these programmes, both full- and part-time, are made using our online application form. Most programmes require additional supporting documentation to be submitted as part of the application process. These can be uploaded with your online application. Visit the University’s postgraduate application page for more information about the application process, timelines and online tracking facility.

Decisions regarding admissions are not made until an application is considered as complete. You will be sent an acknowledgement email as soon as the University has received your application. Further details of the application process, timelines and online tracking are on the University's postgraduate application page.

Applicants are strongly advised to apply early, ideally by mid June. An early application is also important if you need to secure a UK visa or if you are applying for funding or sponsorship. Later applications may be successful, but may not be concluded in time for Registration. Accommodation in halls of residence is not guaranteed for late applicants.
