In particular, we are interested in:
- helping researchers who have limited experience to effectively integrate quantitative methodologies in the design, collection, and analysis of their research projects
- actively encouraging experienced researchers to engage with more advanced quantitative analysis tools, and
- providing a forum for researchers to present work in progress and to receive comments and support from colleagues.
Each year we organise three or four seminars/workshops on various methods. These will range from sessions for inexperienced researchers to sessions on advanced statistical processes. We also organise forums where staff can present (quantitative-based) research proposals and papers in progress for feedback and discussion. All members of staff and PhD students are welcome to be involved.
