What is DSA–QAG?

In 2002 the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills set up a independant Quality Assurance Group (QAG) to establish a framework for Disabled Students' Allowance assessors and assessment centres such as WNAC. In May 2005 QAG acquired legal status, and all assessment centres and assessors are required to meet their published criteria. In January 2006 WNAC underwent an independent audit which successfully demonstrated that it is able to meet DSA-QAG's stringent criteria. DSA-QAG auditors commented upon many areas of excellence, and the Centre and its assessors gained official accreditation. WNAC are currently preparing for another audit which due in late August 2009.

DSA-QAG are inviting students to participate in a short survey to help monitor and improve the service provided to yourself and future DSA-Students.  The survey is split into 3 parts, please follow the below link when your Needs Assessment Report has been completed and it has been sent to the funding body. This will complete Part 1 of the survey” (By doing so you could win an IPOD Touch)”.
