Welcome to the University's Counselling Service web site. The Counselling Service is provided free for all current students and staff of the University of Southampton.
The Counselling team are friendly, professional people who are very interested in helping clients access the help or support that they need.
Everyone encounters difficulties and challenges at various times throughout their lives. People manage these difficulties in various ways, sometimes finding help from their family, friends, their GP or from private or statutory services.
Counselling is just one of the many types of help available to people. If you think counselling might help you, or someone else that you are concerned about, the Counselling Service will be happy to hear from you.
