Placements

The Counselling Service actively supports the training and development of counsellors by offering a limited number of counselling placements each academic year to trainees. All trainee counsellors have reached a minimum level of competence to offer counselling and they are supported both by the qualified counselling staff within the Counselling Service and by their course providers.

A limited number of Associate Placements are also available for recently qualified or 'returing to work' counsellors who seek experience with the Counselling Service.
