About Dyslexia Services
- We offer support and advice to all students with specific learning difficulties, such as dyslexia or dyspraxia.
- We are a team of specialist tutors and assessors.
- You can find us at Building 37, opposite the Jubilee Sports Centre.
- Support is also provided at Winchester School of Art; St Mary's Hospital, Portsmouth and the Ark Centre, Basingstoke and North Hampshire Hospital.
- If you have specific learning difficulties, you need to register with us so we can arrange your support .
- We make recommendations for special exam arrangements.
- We provide individual academic skills tutorials to help you study.

Our services for students include:- Screening tests for dyslexia/dyspraxia
- Full assessments to diagnose specific learning difficulties, such as dyslexia
- Help with applying for the Disabled Students' Allowance (DSA)
- Updating (post-16) assessments
- Individual academic study skills tutorials
- Recommendations for special exam arrangements
- Screening for coloured overlays (to help with reading difficulties)
- Group academic study skills tutorials
- Access to the Assistive Technology Service (ATS)
- Liaison with academic schools and other support services
