Mentoring – An Introduction
Mentoring is study support for students who have health problems, including chronic medical conditions and mental health difficulties. The support that we offer is tailored to suit your individual needs and includes helping you to organise, plan, and manage your study time.
We can help if you are finding it difficult to study or are worried about meeting your deadlines or completing your work. We offer advice on developing your study skills so as to work more efficiently and effectively and we also concentrate on revision and exam techniques. Additionally, we may be able to talk to tutors or liaise with your academic departments if necessary.
Students of the University are eligible for mentor support if their ability to study effectively is being affected by chronic medical conditions and / or mental health difficulties.
