Mr Dario Vignali is a Research Student in Cochlear Mechanics within Engineering and the Environment at the University of Southampton.

Dario graduated from the University of Southampton in 2011 with a MEng degree in Acoustical Engineering. During his degree he took a year out to work as an acoustic consultant undertaking a number of projects dealing with building acoustics. His final thesis focused on signal processing methods with particular attention to biological signals.

Dario is currently undertaking a Ph.D. project on modelling cochlear mechanics in the Signal Processing and Controls Group (SPCG) of the ISVR, funded by SIFEM.
