Southampton Wind Tunnels
We have an enviable variety of wind tunnels available for hire. They are operated by experienced technical staff and backed by internationally recognised academic researchers in fundamental and applied aerodynamics.
Research Institute for Industry (RIfI)
A cutting-edge consultancy and applied research organisation, able to support and collaborate with industry in the specialist fields of engineering.
The Wolfson Unit MTIA
Over 40 years of consultancy service in ship design, yacht design, small craft design, naval architecture, marine technology and industrial aerodynamics, supplying innovative research to a worldwide customer base.
South of England Cochlear Implant Centre
Established in 1990 to help severely to profoundly deaf adults and children, we support almost 600 adults and children with cochlear implants. In 21 years, SOECIC surgeons have implanted more than 800 cochlear implants.
