It has been confirmed that Audiology students starting at the University of Southampton in 2015 will receive over £5000 of additional funding to support their studies.

We are delighted to announce that the first 25 UK/EU students to make one of our undergraduate Healthcare Science (Audiology) courses their Firm choice via UCAS and start the programme in 2015 will receive a bursary of £1750 per year for three years. Over the three years of study students will receive a total £5250 from Health Education Wessex to help support placement travel and accommodation expenses. The bursary does not require repayment.

"This funding is great news for students, as it will help cover relocation, accommodation and travel costs during their clinical placements, and help more generally with living expenses. Students starting the programme in the three previous years also received similar bursaries and have found it extremely useful." Dr Daniel Rowan, Audiology Admissions Tutor.
