Speaker information

Dr Qing Xiao, Strathclyde University. Senior lecturer in Marine Engineering. Dr Xiao's recent research interests are numerical simulations and modelling of marine related fluid problems, including the bio-inspired, environmental friendly, new class of propulsion propeller, robotic fish and ocean stream/wind energy extraction devices which imitate the energy harnessing by the swimming fish.
