Miss Angeliki Laskari is a Postgraduate research student with the AFM group within Engineering and Physical Sciences at the University of Southampton.

I obtained my 5 year Diploma of Engineering (Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering) from the National Technical University of Athens in 2012.  My Diploma Thesis was on 'Flow separation about ship transom stems'.  I then worked for one year in the Computational Science and Engineering Lab (CSE) in ETH, Zurich, before joining the AFM group at the University of Southampton in 2013.

Research interests

  • Turbulence
  • Boundary layers
  • Marine hydrodynamics
  • Flow separation

My PhD is on 'Non-equilibrium turbulent boundary layers' under the supervision of Professor Bharathram Ganapathisubramani.
