Professor Maurice Roumani, Ben Gurion University of the Negev. Professor Maurice M. Roumani is a Political Scientist and a leading expert on Libyan Jews, Refugees, Migrations, Minorities and Jewish-Muslim Relations. He teaches Political Sociology and the Middle East at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev where he introduced the inter-disciplinary study of Sephardi and Oriental Heritage and consequently founded The J. R. Elyachar Center for Studies in Sephardi Heritage.
